Program Note: Glide for Classical Guitar & Live Electronics (2024) was written for Threads Woven, an LGBTQ+ Mental Health Awareness Concert. Glide is meant to be a breath of fresh air, the idea of reflecting on the depressed tone of past work and how self-confidence can change over time. The short, encompassing piece shows the nylon string guitar and uses electronics to distort the instrument played against a poem of the same title.
